Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.Th.)

  • Duration: 4 years & 6 months
  • Intake: 60
ELIGIBILITY Criteria

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 50% of marks in Science group (i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology) at the qualifying examination or Job Oriented Course in Physiotherapy / Rehabilitation are eligible for admission to the said course. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum percentage of marks should be 45% in the qualifying subjects.

  1. Admission to I year B.P.Th course occurs as per the directions given by NEET on specific dates of counseling.
  2. Based on the merit list published by the authorities, candidates report with requisite fee and original documents.
  3. The reporting candidates are admitted and the status of the process is reported to the authorities…
  4. Category wise vacancy position is advertised in daily News Papers, if necessary. 
  5. Collection of applications preparation of merit list and admission of reporting candidates are successively done, as per the regulation by the authorities and the status report is sent.
  6. Procedure No. 4 and 5 are repeated, until the vacant seats are filled, but before the cut-off date for admission.
  7. The list of admitted students and their documents are sent to MUHS for completion of the process.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PTh) Programme: 4½ years (including 6 months of compulsory internship).

English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for the examinations of BPTh Course.

  1. College timings extend from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. Occasionally preplanned activities may require students to stay beyond the designated hours.
  2. 2.Attendance reports and performance reports are sent to parents each quarter and parents of students with lacunae may be asked to meet the co-ordinator/Principal for discussion.
  3. Parents who wish to discuss any matter with faculty or designated authorities may takeprior appointment and visit. 
  4. All parents by default are members of the Parents Teachers Association. Meetings of the same will be held bi-annually with prior information
  5. Parents can communicate with elected members for each Academic year and put forth their views which can be discussed in the next PTA with the permission of the chair.
  6. Hostel facility is available for students.

Computer Lab

Computers have become an essential part in all walks of life. Our College emphasizes on Computer training for our students. The Computer lab is equipped with latest configuration systems with internet connectivity.

Training and Placement Cell

The College is in process to have Placement cell for helping our students towards employment opportunities.

Library

Library is the heart of any College. It is the treasure of latest Reference books in Physiotherapy subject. Reference Books and periodicals with National and International Journals.

FAQ

Fees

The College uses an ERP Software for collection of fees from students. The students can pay their fees from their individual login. The students can also pay their exam fees and admission fees from their respective logins.

The College provides transportation facilities to Staff and students from city to College Campus.

The College routinely conducts Parent-Teacher meet to discuss the various problems faced by the students and we curiously welcome all the opinions and suggestions from them.

  1. The College attaches great importance to discipline and the same must be scrupulously observed by all the students. Failure to comply with any of the rules, regulations or requirements notified from time to time will lead to strict disciplinary action.
  2. Students must always keep with them his/her Identity card issued by the College with their recent photograph affixed, bearing the signature of the Principal. They must present it for inspection or verification whenever demanded by the College Authorities and/or Security staff. No student shall be allowed to attend Lectures, Practical’s etc, unless he/she has his/her Identity card with him/her.
  3. Students should make use of the College Library and must not gather in the College premises whenever they have a free period.
  4. Students must be in their classes in time. Late comers may not be allowed to enter the classes. 
  5. Students must do nothing either inside or outside the College that will in any way interfere with its orderly administration and discipline. They should not communicate any information or write anything about the College to the press without the written permission from the Principal.
  6. Students are liable to lose their term for disobedience, misconduct, misbehavior or for any act of indiscipline.
  7. Students must take proper care of all the College property. Any damage done to the property of the College by disfiguring walls, doors, windows and fitting or breaking furniture and such other things is breach of discipline and will be punishable as such Smoking, Tobacco Chewing, Drugs etc. are strictly prohibited in the College premises. 
  8. Use of mobile Phones in the College premises in strictly prohibited.
  9. Students will not misbehave in any manner anywhere in the College campus nor wear any improper dress while in College and its premises and would maintain descent behavior and shall uphold the dignity of the College whenever he/she may be.
  10. No picnics, excursions or tours shall be arranged without the prior written permission of the Principal. If students joins an unofficial picnic or tour, the College shall not be responsible for anything that happens in the picnic or tour.
